World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH) Professionals - Gender Specialists

Kendall Tidey specializes in serving adults with mood disorders; particularly those with situational or chronic depression. She is a WPATH member and one of Wilmington’s few gender specialists, providing those questioning their gender identity, experiencing gender dysphoria or those under the transgender umbrella seeking support in navigating relationships with friends and family. She is a passionate ally to the trans community and facilitate the free local support group. Dr. Michael Stinnett (he/him) is honored to offer gender-affirming psychological care at Clarity Counseling to teens and adults who are transgender or gender nonconforming. He is excited to build on his previous experience developing a system of high-standard care incorporating in-depth psychological evaluations, individual and group therapy, and a collaborative approach with medical providers. Dr. Stinnett is a full member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) and is experienced in providing mental healthcare to gender diverse children, adolescents, and adults. 



Clay specializes in working with teenagers and young adults, helping them navigate the challenges that come their way. 

Clay has a laid-back style and loves to use humor to make difficult topics easier to discuss. Life can be heavy at times, but believes tough conversations can be tackled through laughter and a relaxed atmosphere. 

One of Clay's passions is working with LGBTQ+ individuals, and understanding the unique obstacles they face. Whether it’s coming out, finding acceptance, or exploring your identity, Clay is here to guide and support you every step of the way.  Clay is a member of the 
World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) and  has completed their
training, ensuring affirming and inclusive care for transgender individuals.
