Tuesday June 2nd

We'd loved to see a diverse mix of LGBTQIA+ individuals represented — people who are newly out alongside those who have been part of the community for many years. A variety of races, ages, gender identities, and expressions. Drag Queens, Singles, couples, chosen families, parents with children, friends, elders, and young people all joining together.
The Pride Proclamation is about showing up for everyone across our city — celebrating authenticity, visibility, resilience, and community. It’s about standing proud of who you are, supporting one another, and reminding people that Pride belongs to all of us.
Join us for the Pride Proclamation Ceremony on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Wilmington City Hall, located in the Skyline Center.
Location:
Wilmington City Hall
929 N Front St
Wilmington, NC 28401
At the end of the ceremony, we will gather for a large community photo to help show the beautiful diversity of our LGBTQIA+ community and allies across Wilmington — a visual reminder that Pride is made up of many stories, backgrounds, identities, and families, all joining together in support and celebration.
